My artworks stem from my impulsivity and my constant yearning for change. Although it may seem like
A mess of styles and mediums, this is the representation of my mental health and my way of functioning
in the real world. I create short-form animation, photomontage, overlayed with digital graphics and
illustrations for the purpose of showing emotions that are otherwise difficult for me to express.
My work focuses on the relationship between my mom and my little sister. Specifically the version of my mom that is softer, present and gentle. Growing up I had a different version of her, life was more difficult for my mom, my sister gets a different version of her now when life itself is a little more gentle. This series sits in that space between what I see, what I feel, and what I imagine it must be like for her.
Half of the work is from my perspective. These pieces will be done in oil because it's slower, more layered, more realistic feeling. It reflects how I view their relationship from the outside, always trying to understand it but never fully inside it.
The other half is from my sister's perspective, created in pastel. These pieces will be softer, more dream-like, very immediate. They represent what I would have seen if I was in her position a moment in time I can only imagine to be in.
There's a bittersweetness in all of it. A sense of loss but not resentment. This body of work isn't about resolving that feeling, it's about sitting in it and understanding that both perspectives can exist in time together through grief, growth and appreciation.

In the presentation I showed my bio, artist statement, showed three inspirations and some of their work and some of my work. Talked about the why on my project and the artist proposal for a potential show/art piece. It’s 13 slides.
My proposal is to create an airline experience centered on Spanish mothers (although all mothers can join), offering a relaxing and culturally immersive journey to Colombia. My mission is to provide a sense of care, rest, and escape through thoughtful details like comfortable seating, Colombian food, and cultural elements that create a meaningful and memorable experience. Through my digital designs, I will apply strong composition, typography, and color to create engaging branding, while also incorporating texture, layering, and imperfections to give the designs a more personal and expressive feel. This way, the airline’s visual identity won’t just look appealing, but will also communicate emotion, culture, and connection.
For this presentation I am going to be showing you guys my brand “HornofJudah,” some details about me, some of my other art projects that relate to my brand, and my typography designs. I am super happy with the presentation just because everything I used to make it, I created it myself. I will be using my typeface, and also making my own slides. I have been working months on this project, and still not fully finished, but I have enough to showcase.
This project and exhibition is about my brand which is also based on my faith as a Christian as some people would recognize me as, but I would usually say I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Too many denominations, when all Jesus said was to “follow me.” I still have some work to do on my typography skills and my typeface, because I want to be as best as possible, and I know I still have to look over it and fix some spacing.
In this presentation I will talk about the meaning of my brand, who I am, and what I am showing in the exhibition. I’m still creating art as I go, and I know by the time I actually get to have my own exhibition I will have a lot more art to showcase, and right now I have other art projects that resonate with the brand I have right now.
Andrew’s passion for art was all due to growing up watching many classic animated shows which would lead him to drawing and sketching all of his favorite characters. For this final project, it focuses of the emotional complexity in his animatic. It evokes familiarity towards the audience watching and hopefully relate to it on a personal level, especially those who use social media a large portion in their life and the consequences it can affect your mental state. Sometimes animation can speak the truth of reality when it needs to.

Ishmael's portfolio presentation is an in depth look at the newly fledgling artist's pieces. From digital to traditional illustration Ishmael has shown experience in a variety of artforms, several of which will be in this presentation. Along with these artforms shown there will be slides depicting the different influences and art history connections that are present in the artist's work. Said work has heavy influences in both expressionism and surrealism respectively, with heavy emphasis on line work. All of these aspects of the presentation culminating in a presentation that showcases images of a book illustrated by Ishmael about indigenous peoples combined with a dose of fantastical elements that allow viewers an introduction into the visual world that’s been created. These connections are not as random and cobbled together as they seem at first carefully crafted to show the forgotten people of history.

Shayna Pullo is a graphic design student focused on clean and intentional work. In this presentation, she shows a mix of branding, packaging, and typography, including projects like Gishiky, Oro, and a custom typeface called Lumina. Each project reflects her interest in simplicity, strong layout, and thoughtful details.
Her proposal, focuses on how people are constantly on their phones and often disconnected from the present moment. The project uses two posters to show this contrast. The first poster represents the feeling of being stuck in a loop of scrolling, using layered images and repeated text to create a sense of overload. The second poster is calm and minimal, showing an empty space with a simple message that invites the viewer to pause.
Through this work, Shayna aims to make people more aware of their habits and how often they are distracted. Her goal is not to criticize, but to create a moment of reflection, even if it is brief.

For my project proposal, I was thinking about showcasing my brand that I created 4 years ago called “ Jerzey Concept “. Originally this started off as an Idea that I had in mind in wanting to create a clothing brand that felt personal to me. I’ve always been a guy that likes to buy t shirts with graphics on them, so I wanted to show what I’ve created so far with the brand such as graphics in t shirts, hoodies, caps, beanies, shoes etc. Most of the designs that I created were already done in Adobe Illustrator, so I also want to showcase posters, business cards, and a website for it made in figma. I want to try and reach my goal of making this look as authentic as possible so I can try and make my brand “ Jerzey Concept “ more recognizable and memorable at the same time to the viewer. In addition, with my brand I would want for the shirts and hoodies to be seen on a display rack also the hats and beanies would be displayed on a rotating hat rack for everyone to see. This would all be put within a small white room in a public space for anyone to come in and check out the merch. Lastly, the 2 display racks, posters, business cards with all of my merchandise being shown will be around $100 - 300.

As Martin gets prepared for his final presentation for studio research 1, he tries to find several artworks that he hasn't shown before to the audience and is finally willing to show them. By going through all of this artwork over the years, for the art proposal he has a clear idea as to what he wants to showcase for the BFA show in the near future. What he is planning to showcase is a clothing brand that he has been working on since 2022 that became a fun little project to do on his own called “Jerzey Concept “. What he is trying to achieve with this goal in mind is to try to make his clothing brand recognizable and a memorable experience at the same time to show it in a public space. It would consist of everything that he has designed thus far like shirts, hoodies, hats, beanies, shoes and maybe he would try to perfect it by making some design tweaks along the way. The space would be in a small white room for anyone to come in and look at the clothing brand. There would also be various different posters on the wall as well as most of the clothing explained on a display rack enhancing the brand experience making it feel more legit. Lastly there would be business cards with stickers of the brand to hand out along with the clothing.
Art has always been a staple in her household as she was surrounded by arcade games, cartoons, and famous amusement parks such as Universal Studios Orlando and various Disney Parks. She was even introduced to anime at a young age with franchises such as Sailormoon, Pokémon, and films from Studio Ghibli (amongst others); media that further shaped Amber’s artistic style and interests.
Everything starts with an idea, a dollar store mechanical pencil, and a piece of paper. Ideas born from my various hobbies, whether it's from video games, reading or playing a Tabletop Role-Playing game. These sketches are then photographed and then brought into an illustration program called “Clip Studio Paint,” where I further edit and organize the sketches compositionally and apply text and colors. Color Palettes, photography references, and written scripts are at arm's reach during this process, as it aids in production. It took me some time to figure out why I started to do this in my free time. What was driving me to painstakingly draft, organize, color, script, and produce these stories? In this presentation, I hope to answer those questions and pitch my proposal for a big project I'm working on!

Imani is from Newark NJ, But mostly raised in Brooklyn NY in her early life, where she then moved to Newark at the age of 12 or 13 years old. Imani had attended a middle school called Chancellor Avenue School, where she got into art more. During that time she only used art to be her voice to express emotion since I was really bad at communicating her feelings but then it help her found the beauty in art and which helped her speak more. On one Christmas her mother gifted her, her very first digital camera and that is where she fold the love for photography began. She then started taking pictures of everything and once when she got to high school that never stopped. She had one teacher that pushed her to pursue in photography more.
