For my final presentation proposal, I will use PowerPoint slides to showcase the art of visual storytelling and how it’s put together. I plan to focus how an animated narrative can express so much of an emotional impact whether it’s a storyboard or an animatic. When it comes to making an animation move, you have to learn the basic of how the story will go from point A to point B, not to mention creating a set of characters that are supposed to carry the story along. I’ll create slides that’ll demonstrate all the basic steps of an animated story and how it would appeal to the audience watching.
Creativity is a major theme to this final project, it’s all about creating your own narrative and your own design style choice. Artists can have limitless amount of ideas on how to make a visual story in the way they want it and how they want the audience to grow attach to it. There are many choices of scenarios, settings, themes that has representation that includes disabilities, LGBTQ themes or even culturally diverse characters that audience can relate to which can also express a sense of comfort as well. It’s all about the freedom to create anything you desire with nothing holding you back from telling your story in animation.
