Artist's Statement:
My work as an artist embodies a sense of playfulness, profoundly expressed through the vibrant use of colors. Each hue serves not just as a visual element but as a language that communicates emotions and ideas. From a young age, I have been captivated by the world of art, finding joy in the creative process and the ability to express my thoughts and feelings visually. My journey began with traditional physical mediums—drawings, paintings, and graphite. These tools allowed me to immerse myself in the tactile experience of creating, enabling me to explore the potential of line and form, as well as the magic that can be achieved through layering colors. As I evolve in my artistic practice, I have embraced digital media, which offers a new realm of possibilities. The transition from traditional to digital art has been both exciting and challenging, pushing me to think differently about my approach to creativity. In the digital space, I find myself fascinated by the endless opportunities for experimentation with typography, texture, and the interplay of color. Several factors influence my work and the subject matter, including my cultural heritage and language. One of the biggest influences on my work is my cultural identity as a Moroccan; I draw from a deep cultural heritage that runs deep through my veins and gives me endless amounts of inspiration to create my work, and I will continue to draw influences from this source as long as I can. My art has evolved tremendously, and I have greatly improved in the skills that I have acquired so far. And I hope to continue to grow and flourish as a young artist.
