Quotes
"I use color as an invite and then leave the decision to the viewer if they will actually stay and be with the content or if they’ll avoid interacting."
I like this quote because that's something that I always think of when I am creating an art piece I always think color is something very important since it can give the aesthetic or vibes that i want to give with my work and also that can give an easy reaction to the public and it is actually and easy way to catch attention of people too.
"Some things I like to consider when creating my work is: Who is looking, and how can I get them to slow down enough to consider themselves in that gaze? What happens beyond the capture in the before, during, and after of looking? Can I create an autonomous space for myself and for anyone in the space that considers themselves in my likeness? I believe all of these questions push me to consider the impact of process and duration."
This one also stood in my mind because this is also what I consider when I am working on my projects even I also make questions to people about what they think of the idea that I have since sometimes I make it for my likeness but also do think of the public that I am trying to approach.
Her inspiration came from truly from and through her body implementing it to her work, in some of my art pieces I actually used myself too and in my opinion it is an interesting composition and what actually motivates me is the message that I am trying to share and what I am trying to achieve with my work and also using emotional aspects and most of them are moments that I am passing through.
My choice of materials, process, etc. usually goes by paint but also I work a lot with a computer to create my pieces, since I completely have totally freedom of what I want to make and how I am trying to make it and showing that a person like me can have the total freedom to crate something and show that everyone could do it and trying to connect with the public on that way is how I want my projects to be.
