In this presentation, Samantha Rivera explores her passion and interest in illustration and animation and how she will incorporate that in her BFA exhibition. For the BFA exhibition, she will create interactive displays meant to invoke the child like experiences and the bittersweet moments of childhood. She uses different mediums like digital art, animation and pencil drawings to create observations from what children find extraordinary in their lives. She’ll elaborate what her plans are for her BFA exhibition, which includes the help of technology to ensure that it is as child friendly as possible to have young minds experience the beauty of art and nature. She uses technology as a way to create a wonderful experience for the children and the adults alike, using projection to invoke an immersive atmosphere. After that, she will briefly explain her plans for the near future by expanding her brand like setting up her art stand at fairs, markets and conventions. Doing this will help her grow her art business and use that opportunity to expose her artwork.
